KINGSWAY COLLEGE GOLF DAY

Kingsway will be hosting our eighth annual Golf Day, on Saturday, 15 October 2011 at the Theewaterskloof Golf Club, Villiersdorp.  Tee off time will be 07:00 am, every 07 minutes until 14:00 pm.  In order for this day to be a success, we need 128 players to fill the field.  We would appreciate it if you would be so kind as to help us ensuring that this Golf Day is a huge success.

As entries to this event are limited, it is advisable for all the prospective entrants to enter as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.  The day will be played in the form of a Four-Ball alliance (two scores to count) preferred drive, that as usual will yield plenty of great prizes.  Players are allowed to make up their own four-balls.  The fees will be R250.00 per player or R1000.00 per four ball and all entrants must please complete the attached entry form.

In order to reach our goals it is necessary for us to approach businesses and individuals to help us with this venture in either sponsoring prizes or a green/tee. All sponsors are most welcome to display advertisement boards at their particular green/tee that they are sponsoring and sponsors of prizes will in turn be mentioned at the prize giving ceremony, as well as on the Clubhouse Board.

Companies and individuals interested in sponsoring a green/tee must please take note that the cost will be R500.00 per green/tee.  We would also like to encourage all sponsors to supply us with literature, pamphlets etc. to hand out to all the entrants to ensure your Company of maximum exposure.

We’re still looking for;

1.       someone to take the general information passed on to students and post that to our blog by sending emails to kingsway.grabouw.sch00l@blogger.com – this posts to our Facebook, Blog & twitter accounts.

2.       Someone to manage the list of Facebook friends, since I don’t know enough Grabouw students and residents to select the correct friends.

I don’t think this needs to be someone on the governing body, could we advertise this need in the student’s post (without mentioning the above email address yet).

Just checked, the posts in Facebook only contained the list of those attending the meeting, so no confidential information present, I’ve deleted that post any way just to be safe.

Please add “Blogger” or no-reply@blogger.com to your SAFE SENDERS list in your Junk mail, since it will be the official way the online sites get updated, if you want to be kept informed of changes on the sites.

We need someone to maintain Facebook, to monitor “friends” posting content that is unacceptable for our school, IE the adding and removing of friends.
